Vegvisir is a beautifully detailed men's sweater adorned with runes, symbols and braids from the Viking Era. In the center of the back is the Vegvisir (Wayfinder) symbol. This is an old Norse symbol. The carrier of this symbol is said to never lose his or her way. Next to the Vegvisir symbol is the symbol for luck from the ancient runic alphabet. Odin's Illusionary Rune was said to give its bearer the ability to become a shapeshifter or even invisible. In battle, this symbol would give you the power and courage of a bear. The braided pattern is inspired by the decorative braids often used in drawings from the Viking Era.
Fittingly, the Vegvisir sweater is made of 100% fine Norwegian wool from the sheep's very first shearing. The short fibres of the wool make the yarn finer and softer, giving us a light, warm and comfortable sweater. The neck is lined with skin soft merino wool.
