Garmisch Beanie – Inspired by Norway’s alpine skiing heritage
A classic rooted in ski history
The Garmisch Beanie is inspired by the iconic sweater created by Dale of Norway for the 1978 World Ski Championships in Garmisch. Its design highlights the legendary Norwegian eight-petal rose, one of the most recognizable motifs in Scandinavian knitwear tradition.
Sporty, elegant, and timeless, this unisex beanie is designed to provide warmth and comfort during cold winter days, whether on the slopes, on the trail, or around town.
Double-layer merino wool construction
Knitted with a double-layer construction using 100% Zefir skin-soft merino wool, the Garmisch Beanie delivers excellent insulation while remaining lightweight and breathable. Merino wool naturally wicks moisture away from the skin and helps maintain comfortable temperature regulation in varying conditions.
Its exceptionally soft fibers ensure itch-free comfort, making it comfortable to wear directly against the skin.
The iconic eight-petal rose pattern
The traditional Norwegian eight-petal rose takes center stage in the design of this beanie. Featured in many of Dale of Norway’s most celebrated creations, it represents the essence of Norwegian knitwear heritage and remains a lasting symbol of Nordic craftsmanship.
