A new take on a timeless classic. The pattern design is lifted directly from our original 1956 Cortina sweater – our first ever Olympic sweater made for the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d’Ampezzo. The Cortina pattern captures the very essence of Norwegian tradition and has become one of Norway’s most beloved patterns.
Like the original Cortina sweater, this sweater is made of 100% Norwegian wool, but in a freshly developed wool quality called Heron. This yarn offers an incredible lightness and a unique, crisp look. For extra comfort, the neck is lined with soft merino wool.
