Autumn and its mood swings

We will soon enter the time of year where we wonder what to wear to face the fresh, cold, sun or chilly wind of autumn. Not funny you’ll say? That is because you have not yet tried the Hafjell jacket from the Dale of Norway collection. At first glance, we found it classic and very elegant. After we put in on, it is its lightness that surprised us. As light, will it keep us warm? Well yes!
 
This windproof coat is made of the special knitshell fabric, unique to Dale of Norway. The knitshell is a membrane that the Norwegian company has developed over time. This technology, made after years of research, has received an award from the Scandinavian Outdoor Group (an association of 31 Scandinavian manufacturers).
 
The knitshell consists of 3 layers of fabric. The outer layer is made of soft and comfortable wool for warm clothing. All the wool fibers are coated with a water-repellent protection before knitting, making the properties efficient and long-lasting. The wool is also stain and dirt resistant. The second membrane (laminated to the wool) offers great protection against the wind: the garment breathes but does not let the wind penetrate. A soft interior lining is found to be the third layer. As the outside wool already offers great protection against the cold, the inner layer was cut in order to have a lighter jacket.
 
Today, knitshells are so light and extra-thin that they give us a feeling of comfort and liberty.

 
Sport-chic
 
The Hafjell jacket travels easily from town to mountain. Depending on the accessories and clothes worn with the jacket, it is possible to create a sport / chic look for your walks around town or a casual / sporty look for hiking. We tested the outdoor jacket for you. We were warm and felt free in our movements.

 
Pauline, meanwhile, uses her Hafjell jacket for her shopping outlets. The jacket keeps her warm throughout the journey (and this during all winter) and is not cumbersome once in the stores. The extras

This jacket, incredibly soft, is available with or without sleeve. The sleeveless jacket can also be worn under a winter jacket during the cold days. You will enjoy it!
